Shreya Saran is a very well known and popular South Indian film star. She was born on September 11, 1982 at Haridwar, India. Shreya, as fascinated by the films,music entered into South Indian films with the telugu film 'Istam' in the year 2001. The film was a big flop at the box office. But, she was noted for her excellent performance and acting skills by so many south indian directors.

After that big loss in her debut film, she did another tollywood film 'Santhosham' opposite popular tollywood actor Nagarjuna. The film did well and ended as one of the blockbusters of the year 2002. After that success, she never looked back. She acted with very famous Indian film stars including Superstar Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna,etc.

Saran became very famous after her performance in the Tamil movie 'Sivaji -the boss' opposite Superstar Rajinikanth. It gave her many opportunities including a role in Hollywood film. Shreya's latest film was 'Mission Istanbul', a bollywood film... it was flopped.
